01 Aug Karleigh & Andrea | The William Aiken House
When the wife of one of Karleigh’s bosses and Andrea’s improv student invited the two to a comedy show in Dayton, Ohio, little did they know that their hostess would— a surprise to them, but not to her—not show up. Sparks flew over the set up and a few weeks and many coffee dates later, Andrea told Karleigh he had to leave Dayton for Boston. Neither was game for a long-distance relationship, so they agreed to spend as much of their remaining days together as possible. “I said goodbye on June 26th thinking we would never see each other again,” Andrea says. That September, the tides turned when Karleigh was called to Beantown for work. “I’ll be in your neighborhood at a conference if you want to meet up,” she told Andrea. “The moment we saw each other,” she says, “it felt the same.” So the two gave that long-distance thing a shot and a year later, he asked her to marry him. Over here at TWR headquarters, we think it just goes to show that what’s meant to be will be. *Sigh* Congratulations on your William Aiken House wedding, you two, and the rest of you?
