A historic mase, a beautiful gown, a fabulous photographer, and a bubbly bride—what more could we ask for on a Thursday morning? Bride-to-be Karen and her photographer Reese Moore headed to the romantic grounds and charming interiors of the Legare Waring House at Charles Towne Landing for a sweet, Southern bridal portraits, and the results are yet another fantastic example of capturing a variety of images throughout a single “sitting.” Of course it does help when the gown is a presto-changeo number itself; designed by Justin Alexander, Karen’s frock featured a large scale lace motif over a champagne silk, covered buttons down the back, and my favorite element, a removable lace bolero. Add a simple posy of white anemones, peonies, and dusty miller and ooh la la.
