28 Jun Jonnel & Brad {Citadel Beach House}
Okay, we are now officially convinced that all newlywed ring shots should include fluffy puppy paws! Fun and laidback couple Jonnel and Brad knew they wanted their Lowcountry wedding to be as easy and breezy as they are, and thanks to MOD Events they nailed it. Once the two had tied the knot at Summerall Chapel near Hampton Park, they followed shutterbug Reese Moore downtown to Rainbow Row for a handful of playful and romantic portraits before heading over the bridges to the Isle of Palms and the Citadel Beach Club for their reception. There, a tent had been set up across the expansive lawn where guests played cornhole while waiting for the couple. Inside, long banquet tables accented with bright blooms from Pretty Petals of Charleston gave an easy, breezy feel to the setup. And when Jonnel and Brad arrived and were introduced into the tent, their sweet pup, Buddy, was right there beside them. Melting! To see more of this darling island wedding and the adorable couple that it celebrated, watch the Dock House Digital video at the bottom of the post.
PS. Although the Citadel Beach House experienced a fire early this past Mother’s Day, it is still one of the most lovely beachside venues in town. To read more about this historic venue and when they’ll be able to host celebrations again, read their press letter to the Lowcountry community.
