If there is a trend that we are 100 percent behind, it’s the brunch wedding, especially in Charleston where venues can book up so far in advance … and where the meal almost always includes shrimp ‘n’ grits. Jodi and Steven chose to celebrate their wedding day on the early side and the charming gathering was complete with beautiful vintage details, pretty petals, and a mimosa and Bloody Mary bar by Squeeze OnSite. Farm tables were accented with planters filled with baby’s breath and peonies as well as pink-patterned china, which eventually held the delicious brunch spread of chicken and waffles, summer salad, and you guessed it, shrimp ‘n’ grits. If this brunch affair doesn’t have you longing for the weekend yet, we don’t know what will. Cheers to Jodi and Steven!
