One of the Lowcountry’s many scenic gems is Shem Creek, a bustling waterway in the Old Village area of Mount Pleasant that’s surrounded by fresh-off-the-docks seafood restaurants, paddle board outfitters, and yes, even a beautiful event venue! Cottage on the Creek, with its charming views of the shrimp boats and breathtaking Charleston sunsets, was the perfect place for Jessica and Chad to celebrate with friends and family on the eve of their Big Day. The ladies of Sweetgrass Social made sure that every detail of the rehearsal dinner was designed to perfection ; from sweet cluster vases of fluffy blooms to a rattan lounge under the tented dock to the escort cards tied to mini bottles of Makers Mark, it’s pretty clear from these beautiful Virgil Bunao images that the night was just as beautiful as it was fun!
