04 Feb Jess & Tex {William Aiken House}
Jess and Tex’s April “I dos” were swapped at the historic William Aiken House downtown, where the pastel yellow structure made a beautiful backdrop against the bride’s muted bouquet and coral clad bridesmaid clan. Jess walked down a rose petaled aisle (thanks to Sara York Grimshaw Designs) to her groom, where a sonnet by their favorite poet, Pablo Neruda, was read aloud before the two officially became Mr. and Mrs. Guests moseyed the grounds, enjoying WED’s décor that brought a bit of the indoors out with simple wicker chairs and classy golden glittered pillows. The sun began to set and hanging lanterns were lit as Amelia + Dan captured the already beautiful space become even dreamier. Plane Jane cranked out tune after tune as wedding goers bopped along and made visit to a cigar rolling station, all before forming a sparkler tunnel to lead way to the newlyweds’ horse drawn carriage awaiting.
