Jess and Nick Kiss (not kidding on that fantastic last name) own one of Charleston’s newest bridal boutiques—Verita—and we couldn’t be happier to help them celebrate their Big Day. The outgoing couple met at a restaurant in Maryland, where Nick was a bartender and Jess was a frequent customer. The two eventually moved together to the Lowcountry, and made plans for a fall wedding here. Mother Nature, however, sent Hurricane Matthew this way that same weekend, so they tackled things a little backward, and kicked off their nuptials with an amazing honeymoon cruise around Spain and France. When they came back, thanks to a fabulous cast of flexible vendors, they said “I do” on a lovely (and chilly) December day at The Island House. With festive color choices, DIY elements (how about those golden crab shells?), and to-die-for bridal accessories, their roll-with-it wedding turned into a wonderland, for sure.
