OK, we’re all dragging a little on this Monday after the long (and filling) holiday weekend. But cheer up, sweeties, ’cause we’ve got just the cure. Jenna and Michael’s nuptials are brimming with bright blooms, sparkly maids, and romance at every turn. First, the dapper couple exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony at the Confederate Home as guests sat under hanging florals and garden umbrellas. Next, the entire celebration boarded the Carolina Queen and traveled around the peninsula to disembark at the Historic Rice Mill for the reception. What a fun way to transport your guests! Inside the waterside locale, which boasts exposed brick, immense windows, and pressed tin ceilings, the talented ladies of Southern Chic Weddings and Events and Branch Design Studio simply accented the existing beauty of the space. Guests were greeted with a champagne tower before heading into the main room where tall arrangements of wildly-colored garden roses, ranunculus, and orchids adorned the tables. When Good Food Catering served up their delicious menu for the evening, some guests even dined outside under bistro lights overlooking the marina. Gorgeous! So, if you’ve got the post-turkey blues, take a break and soak up all of the loveliness that this Charleston wedding has to offer.
