02 Jun Jenna & Joey {Pavilion at Pepper Plantation}
Following an intimate destination wedding in Colorado, Jenna and Joey returned to their beloved Charleston and threw a “boots and blue jeans” post-wedding celebration for their family and friends. Luckily, photographer Anne Rhett shared the images from this homegrown celebration with all of us, because, let me tell you, it is high on inspiration. The celebration, which took place at The Pavilion at Pepper Plantation, was beautifully planned and designed by Ooh! Events and featured red and white gingham linens, potted succulents, darling welcome bags, and delicious eats from Charleston Bay Gourmet. Outside the barn-style venue was a fire pit with s’more fixings, cornhole sets, and bails of hay in lieu of traditional seating. And what kind of party would it be without dancing? Well, in Joey and Jenna’s case, a professional dance caller led everyone in genuine bluegrass line dancing––how fun! Of course, Joey and Jenna found some time to steal away with Anne and capture romantic yet relaxed portraits in their blue jeans, suede jackets, and boots. What a treat to see their wedding welcome-home.
