23 May Jasmine & Brad | Boone Hall Plantation
Jasmine met her hubby, Brad, a South Carolinian, at the valet of the Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. Sounds like a meet-cute straight out of a movie, right? Brad was in town for business, traveling down to the Sunshine State every few weeks, coincidentally (or we’re betting on not, wink) a lot more often after running into Jasmine. These frequent visits developed into a long-distance relationship that a few years later, had the twosome making two big simultaneous steps forward: moving in together and relocating to Charleston. After Brad popped the question, the couple knew that they wanted to marry local since they were new residents. “Our first chick flick we watched together was “The Notebook,”” Jasmine says, “and after seeing Boone Hall Plantation in person, we knew it would be perfect as it reminded us of the movie.” And just like that, the two reserved their spot on the historic grounds for their fall nuptials. Bride Jasmine opted for a color palette where red reigned supreme (it represents romance, elegance, and boldness) and hoped the hue would inspire her guests to fall in love all over again (it sure did us!). Joining forces with the talented gals at Ooh! Events, A Charleston Bride, and Pure Luxe Bride, they designed a space brimming bright hues, the freshest of florals, and a ceremony overflowing with emotion. In addition to the lovely photos captured by Catherine Ann Photography, their wedding video (shot and edited by Paragon Filmworks) showcases the sweet words that Brad’s children recited to their new stepmom. Congrats to the happy newlyweds and congrats to this new family.
