20 Sep Jaime & William {Oak Point Plantation}
Although Jaime and William grew up seemingly worlds apart (she’s from North Boston and he’s from the Lowcountry’s own Wadmalaw Island) sparks flew when they met through a mutual friend. Later, it came time to plan their Big Day they knew that they wanted to showcase all of the Lowcountry charm that Charleston has to offer, so they picked Oak Point Plantation on John’s Island for a magical venue. Jaime and William said “I do” beneath a moss dripping oak tree on the banks of the Stono River, surrounded by loved ones. And as bucolic as the setting was, Jaime’s bridal look—lace gown, romantic braided hairdo, and a gorgeous bouquet of lavender, white, and whispers of yellow flora by On A Limb Floral Studio—set the tone for an elegant evening. Her bouquet’s delicious color palette continued right into the tented reception where colorful blooms and buds were scattered here and there and placed atop a tower of cupcakes. Dinner and dancing (plus some stolen newlywed kisses on the dock) were capped off with a sparkler exit making for one picture-perfect day. Cheers, Jaime and William!
