The Wedding Row darlings, The Connellys, have been very busy. The other day, they were interviewing Hayden at Ashley Bakery for their Vendor Spotlight and they graciously shared some images from their trip. Ashley Bakery has been overwhelming palates with delicious goodness since 1988. They are a family owned, full service bakery, baking up artisan breads, pies, cookies, cakes, party trays, pastries and of course wedding cakes….absolutely amazing over the top wedding cakes. As a three time winner of The Knot “Best of Weddings,” Ashley Bakery has earned a professional reputation not only for incredible decorative skills, but also for delicious cakes.
Eileen and Bernard Ferri bought Ashley Bakery in 1988. A Charleston native, Eileen Ferri, has been baking for many years. Her traditional recipes tantalize taste buds throughout the Low Country! Hayden, Eileen’s daughter, has been decorating cakes for more than 10 years. Her designs have been featured in several magazines including: The Knot, Charleston Weddings Magazine, Southern Living Weddings, In Style Weddings Magazine, Unveiled, Southern Bride, and American Cake Decorating. She has used invitations, paper, fabric and many other elements for inspiration in her designs. Her creative capabilities have resulted in spectacular cakes!
