What better spot for an out-of-town couple to tie the knot than one of Charleston’s most historic hotels? Holly and Nicholas went that route when they treated their guests to a weekend at TThe Francis Marion Hotel in the heart of the city, complete with delicious Southern cuisine, and, of course, a big party to celebrate the newlyweds. The ceremony took place at First Baptist Church and was capped off with a ribbon streamer exit from the church that was followed by a beautiful ballroom reception back at the hotel. Beautifully planned and designed by TWR Vendor, Ashley Nicole Events, the already lovely ballroom was made all the lovelier with tall white and green floral arrangements, ivory linens, gold chiavari chairs, and a darling trio of cakes by DeClare Cakes. So, so pretty. The real pièce de resistance, however, was Swing On!, an eight-piece swing band that kept the party going all evening. Is there anything more classically romantic than a big band in a golden ballroom? Cheers, Holly and Nicholas!
