In the sixth grade, Dakota had just moved to Holly’s hometown of Harrisburg, North Carolina, when the two met on the school bus. They became close friends and five years later started dating. The pair, who got engaged five more years later in Boone, North Carolina, as the sun set one evening, chose The Cedar Room for their nuptials and called upon Rachel Craig Photography to capture the milestone day. The menu included fried green tomatoes, pimiento cheese, creamed spinach bites, a seafood bar, and much, much more, all designed for the out-of-towners to get a “taste of Charleston” says the bride. And while we’re ready for a plate of all that goodness, we’re equally smitten with how Paraiso Event Design decorated the chameleon-like space. Really—take a look to see for yourself!
