If there’s a wedding look that Charleston pulls off effortlessly every time, it’s that dreamy blend of pretty, preppy, and nautical. Heather and Rob’s Mount Pleasant wedding is proof positive. Photographed by Riverland Studios, the affair, held at Charleston Harbor Resort, boasts colorful blooms, sandy shores, hints of hemp rope, and cameos with the maritime knots that we love so much. Before, ahem, tying the knot, Heather and Rob shared a first look and then posed holding wedding portraits of their parents. Love! After their harborside ceremony, the party transitioned seamlessly into reception mode with twinkling cafe lights, yummy bites from the resort’s kitchen, and dancing, dancing, dancing. Oh, and then there were those centerpieces of lanterns surrounded by wooden planters of hydrangea, greens, and pops of hot pink tulips atop navy and white patterned runners. Yep, there it is—that magical pretty-preppy-nautical combo! Congratulations, Heather and Rob and thank you for letting us share your lovely day.
