Hello, one and all! Enjoy the gorgeous weekend? Us, too. Let’s keep the pretty going with a hop, skip and a jump down Highway 17 to Beaufort, South Carolina, for today’s beautiful wedding. Hayes and Brayden’s dads have been friends since they were 16—both were in each other’s weddings, even—so the kids grew up together. But it wasn’t until a college football game years later that the Hayes (a University of South Carolina grad) and Brayden (a College of Charleston alum) noticed there might be a bit more to their friendship. From that kindling, the two began a long-distance relationship that spanned from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to Nashville, Tennessee. And when things evolved all the way to tying the knot, they decided to celebrate down South, at one of the Lowcountry’s gems, The Beaufort Inn. In the 1897 B&B’s back garden, a sailcloth tent was erected and draped in garlands, filled with lounges, and populated with dining tables that sported centerpieces of driftwood, eucalyptus, and colorful bud arrangements. Add mouth watering fare (chicken and waffles, please!) and a lively, lovely dance floor, and it was a grand celebration.
