12 Jan Haley {Bridal Portrait}
Buckle up because this bridal portrait session is ah-mazing. Haley knew that she wanted photographer Dana Cubbage to capture two different bridal styles—the first, and Old Hollywood glam and the second, a classic bridal look—each equally gorgeous. To start things off, Haley channeled her inner Marilyn Monroe with curls and red lips while vamping downtown at the art deco-styled American Theater and its neighboring William Aiken House and gardens. Next, the bride-to-be picked up the beaded hem of her Theia gown from Gown Boutique of Charleston and headed to the Ashley River and Lowndes Grove Plantation. There her hair went up, and the tone went down into understated elegance, a vibe complemented perfectly by a bouquet of creamy garden roses. Whether posing in the manse’s portico or lounging on the gathering room’s settee, every one of the shots is fabulous. We agree with Dana when she said, “I’m pretty confident that Haley’s fiancé’s jaw is going to drop when he sees these photos… and when he sees her for the first time on their wedding day.” Congratulations to Haley and Jeffrey who tied the knot at Lowndes Grove back in November!
