26 Feb Grace & Ryan {William Aiken House}
To finish a week that’s been filled with fabulousness, let’s dive head first into Grace and Ryan’s timeless wedding at the William Aiken House. Planned and designed by Katie Poole of The Burlap Elephant, this sweet Southern wedding boasts the perfect mix of classic elements, pops of color, and laid back romance. After their church ceremony downtown, the newlyweds hopped onto a horse drawn carriage and rode, with photo maven Dana Cubbage in tow) to their reception, pausing here and there for a smooch. Grace, who wowed in her fitted lace Modern Trousseau gown, had Frampton’s Flowers work with a palette of white, silvery green, and pops of cranberry red and craft copious arrangements for a perfect autumn celebration. Al fresco dining under twinkling bistro lights was followed by a serious dance party thanks to the Emerald Empire Band. The action was the perfect distraction for guests while Grace and Ryan snuck away and, in private, cut their own little personal cake (Ryan’s mom had actually baked it for them). So sweet—and smart. Cheers to the newlyweds!
