There are a myriad of reasons why we’ve fallen in love Erin and John’s wedding at the Creek Club at I’On, First, the dreamy arrangements jam packed with red roses—perfect timing with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, no? Second, the “punny” and oh-so personal word play on John’s last name, Diehl. Using the phrase “A Big Diehl” as their starting point, the ladies at Loluma weaved the words throughout the fête’s design, from the invitation suite to the cake topper. And the rest of the décor was just as smart: inside the beautiful waterside clubhouse, crystal chandeliers hung from rustic wooden rafters while chic tablescapes surrounded a black-and-white checkered dance floor—a dance floor that was well used by Erin (who stunned in Monique Lhuillier), her new hubby, and all of their closest friends and family. My oh my are we happy that these Clemson grads—who met while living in Chicago years after graduation—decided to host their Big Day here in the Holy City. A Big Diehl, indeed!
