A chance meeting in Barcelona led to a long-distance romance between Erika and Jack, which was followed by a move to New York City and finally, their destination wedding in Charleston. And for a couple with a fairytale beginning, their Big Day was just as much the stuff of fantasy. For starters, Erika envisioned a palette of blush, champagne, and ivory, hues that she donned herself with a lace off-the-shoulder gown and bouquet of pink roses. Outside, the mansion’s garden pergola was draped in blush and dressed with posies of roses and stock to frame the couple as they said “I do.” From there, Southern Chic Weddings & Events ran with a travel theme where luggage tags became escort cards, map prints formed place cards, and a vintage globe acted as a guestbook. After a yummy surf ‘n’ turf dinner prepared by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group, the bride and groom danced the night away before grabbing a late night snack from food truck Roti Rolls.
