18 Mar Emily & Jenner {Private Club}
Historic secret gardens, flower walls, family swords, and kilts—I think it’s safe to say this wedding has it all! Emily and Jenner, who met as Tar Heels at UNC Chapel Hill, chose to celebrate their wedding day in Charleston, the bride’s hometown. After gifting her maids goldbug earrings from Croghan’s Jewel Box and donning her incredible lace sleeved overlay gown, Emily met up with her father, who was wearing a kilt in the family tartan. The crew St. Philips’ church where Emily and Jenner were named husband and wife. After the formalities, the celebration moved to a nearby private waterfront club, which Sha Sha Harnik of Loluma had transformed into a veritable indoor Eden. Green hedges, a monogrammed flower wall, and more pink- and berry-hued blooming arrangements than we could count covered the ballroom while Big Swing and the Ballroom Blasters made sure there was plenty of music to swing and shag to. Cheers to Emily and Jenner…and cheers to a wonderful weekend. See you at the Spring Bridal Show tomorrow!
