15 Sep Emily & Grant {Hibernian Hall}
Emily and Grant, who met in Washington D.C. and now call Greenville, South Carolina, their home, knew that they wanted to treat their families and friends to a true Southern wedding in Charleston. Well, with the help of some favorite Holy City vendors like The Burlap Elephant and Out of the Garden, it’s safe to say that their Big Day aims were a surefire success. After Emily and Grant shared a romantic first look tucked away in a hidden garden downtown (with Riverland Studios behind the lens), the wedding party headed to the French Huguenot Church to witness the two say “I do.” Afterward, a second line parade band lead the newlyweds and their guests to nearby Hibernian Hall for a beautiful reception. Crisp white linens were topped with golden mercury glass vessels boasting flora like white hydrangea, tulips, peonies, and magnolia leaves. Trés Charleston, no? And with a last name like Sparks, how could they resist tying in little elements like koozies and matchbooks with the party-appropriate name? We love it!
