31 Mar Elise & Jarrett {The Vendue Inn}
They say rain on your wedding day is good luck, so does getting hitched amidst the worst flood to hit Charleston in 1,000 years (so said the weathermen) make yours the luckiest setup there ever was? Elise and Jarrett, who were wed at The Vendue during the Lowcountry’s relentless rains last October, would say yes, indeed. When their planned outdoor wedding was ushered inside, the pair reveled in the boutique hotel’s dry, chic surroundings while surrounded by their closest friends and family and Charleston Blooms’ floral finery. The rainfall made for stellar shots, like the stolen kiss in this vintage getaway car, snagged by Emily Baucom Photography. And check out these pretty paperies from Dodeline Design and the packaged grits as party favors—so Charleston. And finally, feast your eyes on a cake by The Cake Stand that’s almost too pretty to eat…almost. Now how about a big congrats to Elise and Jarrett; wonder if those guys have snagged any lottery tix yet?
