Courtney and Hunter met during college while both were studying abroad in Spain. The two stayed friends throughout college but didn’t start dating until after graduation. Three years later, Hunter moved to Charleston to be closer to Courtney, and on a weekend getaway to visit Asheville’s Biltmore Estate, he asked for her hand.
