06 Jun Collin & Tyler {William Aiken House}
It’s easy to fall in love with a wedding shot by amelia + dan, but when Collin, a College of Charleston grad, shared the thoughtful and meaningful details of her wedding to Tyler with us we were speechless. For starters, her mother baked their cake and a close family friend created the lovely florals. Then, during the ceremony on the front lawn of the iconic William Aiken House, a custom-made lantern was carried down the aisle in honor of Collin’s late brother as music composed by the groom’s father (for his own wedding in 1979) played. Behind the scenes to execute all the details was Katie Poole of The The Burlap Elephant, who also put her signature vintage touch on the design of the overall day. Take a look and enjoy their ceremony and celebration steeped in sentiment and style. Oh, and be sure to take in Collin’s incredible eyelet gown by Olia Zavozina with its removable peplum—so chic!
