When Maryland-based lovebirds, Christina and Brad, chose to celebrate their wedding in the Lowcountry, they knew they wanted to do it in high style. Cue dapper blue suits, vintage cars, and bouquets of creamy roses, anemones, and tons of textured greenery. After a dreamy first look (we’re serious, take a peek) on the beach, shutterbug Alex Thornton snapped countless portraits of the almost-weds along with their large bridal party as the salty surf lapped in the background. Vows were exchanged in an outdoor ceremony at Mount Pleasant’s Pavilion at Patriots Point and followed by a beautiful tented reception overlooking the green grounds and the Charleston Harbor. Tables were graced with clusters of bud vases and pomegranates, while chair signs reading “my darling wife” and “my darling husband” hung from the couple’s chairs at their sweetheart table. Awwwt! From top to bottom this Lowcountry wedding is positively pinnable! Enjoy, dears!
