05 Feb Chinyere & Johnny {Magnolia Plantation & Gardens}
When this destination couple selected Magnolia Plantation & Gardens for their Big Day venue, they did so based on the history, ambiance, and rich Lowcountry landscape that it has to offer. Chinyere and Johnny capitalized on the bounty by staging their ceremony with moss-covered oaks and the Ashley River as their backdrop, and then hosting a romantic reception done to DIY perfection in the plantation’s carriage house. The bride and groom used sources like eBay and Etsy to find just the right elements for their persimmon and teal color palette. The ribbon-tied ceremony chairs, custom signage and florals provided by day-of-coordinator (and TWR favorite), Beth LeonGuerrero of WildFlowers Inc., are just some of the bits that made this DIY wedding a complete success!
