29 Apr Caroline & Chris {Laurel Springs Plantation}
Today’s featured couple, Caroline and Chris, would agree that where there are cold hands, warm hearts follow. Need proof? Just peek at their Laurel Springs Plantation wedding by Sage Innovations, where cooler Winter temps were embraced and even incorporated into their Big Day. From the fire pit overlooking the marsh to the radiating glow emanating from mercury glass candle holders and the luxurious fur stole draping Caroline’s shoulders, this was a wedding that brought the heat all on its own. And how much do I love that clever saying, “To have and to hold, in case you get cold,” in this case referencing a vintage chest full of cozy blankets for guests. Ever-talented Evan Laettner keeps the pretty coming by capturing Tiger Lily Weddings creative use of florals as draped garland and the stunning topiaries that greeted guests as they made their way to the wooden bench ceremony seating. What a way to walk down the aisle… Congratulations, Caroline and Chris!
