08 Apr Carmen & Aaron {Magnolia Plantation & Gardens}
Prepare yourselves for a wedding so lush and romantic that you won’t be able to think of anything else all weekend long! Carmen and Aaron’s wedding at Magnolia Plantation & Garden is one for the books, darlings. Carmen’s stunning bridal style starts us on the right foot with her lace sleeved ball gown, cathedral veil, embellished sash and retro chignon—glam, yes? The opulence continued with an open air ceremony featuring white vintage pews and a drapery backdrop tied back with large bouquets of hydrangea, Juliet garden roses and dusty miller. Wow! Afterwards, guests headed inside the carriage house where Engaging Events had transformed the already lovely space into a garden wonderland. Wild installations of dripping moss and winding greenery hung from every rafter and chandelier while the tables were graced with blooming garlands and tree-like centerpieces boasting more garden roses than we can count! As if we weren’t already breathless from the beauty, there’s a seven-tiered cake with sugar blooms and bits of piped lace at the base of each layer that just about stole the show. But we’d be crazy to forget to mention the escort card tree on the courtyard where hundreds of cards hung from the bare branches mixed with strands of crystal beads and fluttering ribbon… It might just be our favorite moment! All our best to the lovely couple and thank you for sharing your wonderfully beautiful day!
