In honor of Cary and Chad meeting on Tinder, we’re swiping right on their gorgeous garden wedding. The nuptial whirlwind kicked off when Chad asked Carey to be his wife … on their street corner … with both of their families watching above from their apartment—thank goodness she answered affirmatively! From there, the couple began planning a Lowcountry fête at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens with the talented ladies at ELM Events. When the wedding day rolled around, photographer Caroline Ro captured their adorable first look at the Inn at Middleton Place, before everyone headed up the road for the ceremony on one of Magnolia’s lawns that overlook the Ashley River. And while we love all the party locations at Magnolia, it’s always exciting when couple’s invite guests to celebration in The Conservatory there. Whimsy ruled the space dotted with wooden chandeliers draped in greenery, filled with farm tables laden with bud vases of white blooms, and set with whitewashed chairs from Ooh! Events. (The latter babies might be our newest seating crush!) Subtle, neutral, and effortlessly beautiful, the celebration reflected this cool couple down to a T. Congratulations, Carey and Chad and thanks for kicking off our weekend in such gorgeous fashion!
