06 Mar Caitlyn & Patrick | The Gadsden House
Six years ago, a mutual friend asked Patrick to host Caitlyn while she was in San Francisco for a wedding. The two got to know each other over the couple of days, and as she packed her bags for Chicago, they knew they had to see each other again. Two years of dating later, Patrick popped the question and in a flash they were trying to find a wedding city for that would work for guests scattered across the East Coast. As they tossed the idea of Charleston out to their nearest and dearest, “Our friends were thrilled, our families were thrilled, and everyone was ready to eat some grits,” says Caitlyn. That was that, and with the pros from Bouquets & Bowties at the planning and prettification helm, they tied the knot at The Gadsden House. For those looking for iconic, oh-so Charleston spots for your wedding portraits, take a peek at their first look in front of the Pineapple Fountain at Waterfront Park downtown. We can’t get over how breathtaking the photos are, and we hope you enjoy them, too!
