05 May Brittany & Kirk {Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation}
Take a break from that Cinco de Mayo celebrating to enjoy this little charmer of a wedding. After learning that Brittany and Kirk love playing Mario Kart and were willing to jump in a fountain during their engagement session, photographers Amelia + Dan knew that their actual Big Day would be filled with fun, laughter, and lots of love. Once the two had been named husband and wife under the ornate buttresses in Grace Episcopal Church, the celebration continued over the bridge in Mount Pleasant at Boone Hall Plantation. Charleston Flower Market filled the Cotton Dock with loose arrangements with greenery, white ranunculus, and pops of blue delphinium while dinner was served up by Crazy Dutchman Catering. Ashley Bakery’s beautiful (and delicious) three-tiered cake made for the perfect dessert, and as toasts and dancing took off, the lights strung in the rafters twinkled more and more. In a flash, it was time for Brittany and Kirk to depart through a sea of sparklers, which they did ecstatically. Congratulations to the happy, enthusiastic couple and here’s to carry some of that energy into this festive day!
