23 Nov Brittany & Josh {Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation}
Rain, rain, go away … wait, on second thought, we hardly notice you thanks to all of the prettiness and romance emitting from Brittany and Josh’s beautiful (albeit wet) wedding day. As guests huddled under umbrellas, Brittany made her way down a petal-strewn aisle at Boone Hall Plantation and said “I do” to her beau, completely unphased by the chill or sprinkling rain. Once shutterbug Reese Moore had snapped some lovely portraits of the happy newlyweds, they met their guests in the Cotton Dock where a cocktails and yummy bites from Hamby Catering & Events were being served, and a fire roared in the brick fireplace. Peach-colored arrangements sat atop white linen draped tables and the high-tops were tied with sage sashes that matched the bridesmaids frocks. As the sun set over the marsh, the glow from the fire and the bistro lights in the rafters cast a warm glow over the celebration. Brittany and Josh’s wedding exemplifies that not even the dreariest of weather can put a damper on true love!
