14 Apr Brittany & Griffin {Private Yacht Club}
To say I’ve been in love with Brittany’s bridal look from the moment that photographer Carmen Ash first shared her wedding images with us would be a tremendous understatement––I’m downright obsessed. From her embellished nude-toned gown to her low chignon accented with a vintage broach, this Charleston bride’s look is positively swoon-worthy. Of course, her hubby Griffin looked quite dapper as well in his white dinner coat. On one of those beautiful Holy City evenings when the sky begins to turn that pinkish purple color, Brittany and Griffin said ‘I do’ on the back porch of the a downtown yacht club overlooking the Charleston Harbor. Afterward, the newlyweds walked along the neighboring Battery to pose for stunning sunset portraits with Carmen before heading back to the club for their party. Paper lanterns hung from the ceiling while simple arrangements of calla lilies and greens took residence in blue and white ginger jars. Plenty of dances and several trips to the photobooth later, it was time to call it a night. Congratulations to the lovely couple!
