08 Feb Brighid & Michael {William Aiken House}
We’re kicking off this week with a story of triumph. Charlotte, North Carolina, residents Brighid and Michael knew that they wanted to tie the knot in Charleston, but what they didn’t know was that the October weekend would coincide with the now-infamous 1,000 Year Flood. Although the streets were under water, their amazing team of wedding vendors (including Megan from Mingle, Jennings King Photography, and Branch Design Studio) stopped at nothing to make sure that their day at The William Aiken House moved ahead as smoothly as possible. Besides being a miracle, the results were nothing short of stunning. From Brighid’s drop-dead gorgeous Marchesa gown to the dreamy garden-style florals and the candlelight filling the storm-darkened rooms of the historic mansion, every moment is not only Pinnable, but incredibly inspiring. Bravo to all those involved in pulling off this rainy day affair and cheers to Brighid and Michael. You know what they say about a rainy wedding day!
