15 Jul Brianne & James {Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation}
When New York native Brianne said “Yes!” to James, a dashing Brit, they knew they wanted to host a destination wedding on neutral territory. Charleston seemed the perfect location and once they laid their eyes on the magical oaks and historic estate of Boone Hall Plantation, they were sold. On a steamy Charleston day in August, Brianne and James said “I do” in front of the iconic brick manse surrounded by family and friends. After portraits that highlighted everything from their good looks to Brianne’s gorgeous bouquet and textured Theia gown, the party moved to the plantation’s Cotton Dock where simple florals and decor in white and green hues capitalized on the natural beauty of the venue. And when it’s an international romance, why not include some subtle yet charming travel details—like that DIY cake topper! Good thing Amelia + Dan were there to document every perfect detail. Congrats to the lovely couple and thank you for choosing to celebrate your big day in Charleston!
