Today’s lovely fall wedding took place in one of Charleston’s best-kept secrets, the tucked away 1825 Governor Thomas Bennett House and was filled flowers, linens, and more in blush and burgundy hues. But before we get too carried away in all of the beautiful details, let’s introduce the happy couple. Briana and Chris met while both attending the University of Missouri, where she was earning her bachelor’s in journalism and he was finishing up his law degree. Three years into their courtship, he asked for her hand while the two were visiting their favorite vineyard in Missouri, Chaumette Vineyard. With Briana’s parents living in Mount Pleasant, the bride and groom (who now reside in Chester, Illinois) headed homeward to say “I do.” By enlisting Lashes and Lace to give Briana and her gals glow, recruiting Riverland Studios to capture everything top to bottom, and relying on Mother Nature to present the perfect backdrop, it was as perfect as a fall wedding gets.
