Betsy and Matt’s destination wedding at Charleston’s beautiful William Aiken House is full of homespun Southern details paired with an elegant refinery provided by the talented ladies of Party.Love.Birds. The couple, who met on a blind date and never looked back, knew that they wanted their wedding to “exude everything Charleston”, so naturally, they selected the iconic William Aiken House as the locale, selected a tasty menu of Holy City fare by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group, and placed blooming June stems like peonies, stock and anemones at every colorful turn. Top it all off with bites from a cake topped with a “treat yo self” reminder and a white cowbell send-off, (a fun alma mater tradition for Matt, a Mississippi State grad), and you’ve got yourself a perfect celebration!
