Autumn and Philip met as dancers while growing up in California and dated for eight years before they decided to tie the knot. Both both professional ballet dancers with the Columbia City Ballet, they decided Charleston was where they wanted to tie the knot. The lovebirds enlisted Engaging Events to bring a “modern vintage” look (so dubbed by the bride) to life via a palette of muted teals and corals, funky blooms (including giant protea), and a typewriter for guests to tap out sweet messages to the newlyweds. Our favorite pretty bit from this affair? Why, the custom Dodeline paperies, of course. Paying homage to the dancers’ performance roots, invitations were designed to look like vintage ballet tickets while a faux newspaper clipping told their love story—charming! Cheers to the happy couple.
