When I read Audrey and Joe’s love story, I flat-out fell in love with the two of them. While attending the College of Charleston, the couple spotted each other on the dance floor at a Halloween party on the Charleston Harbor—she was dressed as a sailor and he as Batman. One dance there lead to a courtship, which eventually lead to a rooftop proposal atop the Andrew Pinckney Inn. Following Audrey’s “Yes!” the Charlotte, North Carolina, couple celebrated with champagne and then hopped into a rickshaw for an open-air ride to dinner where both their families awaited as a surprise. Nice move, Joe! Given that story and their history, Audrey said it was a no-brainer to have their engagement photos taken by Revival Photography here in the city that birthed and nurtured their love story, and boy are we glad they did.
