When Chicago-based Max fell in love with Ashley, a Southern gal, it was evident as their exciting four-year romance bloomed that both of them wanted the fun to last the rest of their lives. So on a beautiful day last June, the Charleston residents said “I do” overlooking the water from the lawn of Harborside East, a chic venue on the Mount Pleasant side of Charleston Harbor. After taking a timeout for charming (and sometimes silly) portraits with Ava Moore Photography, the brand new newlyweds headed inside where simple arrangements of hydrangeas and sage green linens gave the space the natural look that the couple desired. Once guests had enjoyed a veritable feast from Crazy Dutchman Catering, the party really got started—we’re talking dancing, donuts, and even a surprise musical performance from the groom. Seriously, this crew looks like a lot of fun. We hope the fun only continues for this sweet couple who call the Lowcountry home!
