Could you use a pretty spring day right now? Us, too. Here’s one that we’ve been saving for just such a craving … Ashley and Matt said “I do” on the front lawn of Charleston’s Lowndes Grove Plantation surrounded by family, friends, and one heck of a dapper wedding party, the maids in flowy lavender frocks and the gents in sharp black tuxes. After the formalities, guests headed into a draped tent, which The Burlap Elephant team had filled to the brim with banquet tables, rich-hued linens, gold flatware, and copious amounts of Branch Design Studio’s artfully arranged blooms. The focal point? A mahogany head table that boasted a stunning runner of white hydrangeas, lilac, lavender sweet peas, and light pink ranunculus. Yep, I’m in love. The dreamy evening, captured to perfection by Ellis Photo Studio, continued with several courses from Patrick Properties Hospitality Group, then morphed into a full-on dance party thanks to the group 5 on Sunday before finally finishing with a sparkler exit for the newlyweds. Congratulations, Ashley and Matt! And thanks for warming up our day!
