Since this is the season of sparkle, let’s start the week off with what photographer Anne Rhett calls “Lowcountry Glitz,” a style that Ashley and Jordan clearly aced. The look is a mix of neutrals in natural fabrics–linen, muslin, and sometimes seagrass–that’s offset with shimmering metallics, like gold candelabras and textured throw pillows, and calls to mind marsh tones, bleached-dock hues, and family heirlooms. As for Ashley and Jordan, who exchanged vows surrounded by friends and family on the banks of the Wando at the Creek Club at I’On, their reception glowed with a glitz all of their own thanks to ivory and gold linens, muslin-colored lounge pieces from Ooh! Events, and candlelight flickering from every surface. In that inspired setting, guests enjoyed the photo booth, tasty slices of cake, and the sounds of Permanent Vacation. Well done, newlyweds, well done!
