21 Sep Ashley & Jason {William Aiken House}
It’s true. I’m completely in love. Everything about this wedding is simply divine! Let’s start with Ashley’s gown, a two piece Monique Lhuillier, that quite frankly makes my little fashion heart skip a beat. Oh, and did you notice how the masterpiece of a cake made by the one and only Jim Smeal, is completely inspired by the lace of the gown’s bodice?! Gorgeous. After a candlelight ceremony at First Baptist, guests were welcomed into a pink paradise throughout the grounds of the William Aiken House with gorgeous flowers at every turn! The fully draped tent was filled with vintage furniture mixed with bold patterned linens and accessories, each perfectly placed by the talented ladies of WED. As the night carried on and the sun began to set, the soft uplighting in the tent gave the space a pink glow… so romantic! And if you’re thinking to yourself, ‘these photos are incredible’, that’s because the lovely Marni Rothschild was behind the lens for this affair. Like I said, I’m just completely in love with this wedding!
