Needless to say … but TGIF! Let’s sweeten up this weekend deal by kicking it off with some pretty, shall we? Enter Ashley and Daniel, two world-traveling self-proclaimed foodies who hosted a destination wedding in historic Charleston that left us oohing and aahing and asking for seconds—of ice cream, that is. When it came time for dessert, not only was a slice of the three-tiered cake by confection maestro Jim Smeal a palatable option, but so was a full-on decked-out ice cream bar, sprinkles and all. Nom! Sage Innovations, who customized the whole dreamy day to the couple’s liking, transformed the grounds of the Governor Thomas Bennett House into a garden oasis. Romantic blooms and greenery by Branch Design Studio majestically cascaded down the arch where the twosome swapped vows, and sheer table runners made the reception feel just as lush as the venue’s natural surroundings. Job well done by all involved! Let’s raise our glasses to this happy couple.
