23 Mar Arrie & Ben {Lowndes Grove Plantation}
We know you all are chomping at the bit to see the images from Saturday’s bridal fashion palooza, aka Charleston Weddings Magazine’s Spring Bridal Show, but first, we wanted to share this blustery Charleston wedding with you. Arrie and Ben’s wedding day might have been one of the chilliest and windiest of the year, but it didn’t keep their beautiful celebration from warming every heart that witnessed it—including ours as we pour over Virgil Bunao’s images. After Arrie, in her stunning cap-sleeved lace gown and short veil, walked down the lawn of the River House to say her vows to Ben, the wind and rain picked up and even blew the ceremony notes right out of the officiant’s hands! Once things were reined back in and vows had been sealed with a kiss, the newlyweds headed out onto the dock. Arrie, wrapped tightly in her gorgeous fur stole, laughed as Ben tried to wrangle an umbrella that had been blown inside out and no matter how comical or cold the circumstances, the pair simply radiate love in every shot. Thank goodness the talented gals of A Charleston Bride were the ladies behind the scenes on this one not only keeping everything in order, but making it pretty pretty to boot! Cheers to the beautiful couple and thank you for sharing your windy day with us! (Oh, and don’t miss their fabulous video at the bottom by Cinema 843…you can actually see the ceremony notes fly away…)
