19 Oct Arielle & Bill {Cottage on the Creek}
We have a feeling a few of you might be e-mailing this post to your man for inspiration, because today’s groom is teaching us all a lesson in masterful proposals. Bill and Arielle met while studying at the Citadel and College of Charleston respectively, so years later after they’d moved away and he found himself planning a birthday trip for her, Charleston was an obvious choice. This trip included 10 of her dearest friends surprising her upon arrival, then spa time and rides on a party bus for all the ladies. At the end of the evening, the bus dropped them off at South End Brewery where 60 of her friends and family celebrated as Bill dropped to one knee and popped the question. Wow! It’s only fitting that the two tied the knot in Charleston with a traditional ceremony at Summerall Chapel and a reception overlooking the gorgeous Lowcountry landscape at Cottage on the Creek. From the bridesmaid’s blush gowns to the fabulous blooms to the cigar bar for Bill and his guys, this wedding boasts even more ideas and inspiration than the incredible proposal that started it all. Cheers to the happy couple!
