04 May Anne Barge Spring 2014 Collection
For the Spring 2014 collections, Anne was inspired by the couture and architectural romance of the past. Imagine the soft pastels and sense of lightness as evoked by the Impressionist painter, Claude Monet with particular attention paid to Monet’s vision and breath-taking interpretations of his opulent gardens at Giverny, France. This seasons gown silhouettes are inspired by Parisian Couturier Pierre Balmain, known for his sophistication and elegance when working fabrics together for the woman’s body. Combining the architecture of movement that is symbolic of Balmain onto the set of Monet’s paintings in the gardens of Giverny, Anne Barge produces a collection drawing on Parisian inspiration and transformed into visual perfection.
