Today we’re taking a break from the “I do’s” to shine a light on the crazy yet wonderful season that leads to the aisle—engagement. It can be a stressful whirlwind full of planning, budgeting and counting down the days, but it can also be one of the most romantic times in preparation for the beginning of marriage. Today’s couple, Anna and Kyle, took a break from planning and spent the afternoon at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens (where they plan to tie the knot next year) while photographer Britt Croft snapped countless shots. Soft sunlight, blooming gardens, and a cameo from one of the plantation’s peacocks helped make this engagement session extra-beautiful.
