A happy bride makes for the prettiest bride, and that couldn’t be any more true than Anna on her wedding day. Sighs all around. As for the lead up? Anna met Alex at a bash in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, one New Year’s Eve while she was home on break from medical school. (She says she was drawn to his “legendary” dance moves that night). They hit it off and became as inseparable as their long-distance relationship would allow. When Alex was reassigned to Charleston’s MUSC to receive his master’s, Anna moved here, too, working as a medical clinician just west of town. (If there were a timeline for their relationship, this segment would say “Fell in Love with Charleston.”) After their engagement, tying the knot at Mount Pleasant’s Patriots Point Links felt like the perfect fit. And though they’ve since moved back to Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh, precisely), they say they will always remember the Holy City as a special, special place. With Anna’s bridesmaids in floral dresses, stunning coifs by Lashes and Lace, an over-the-moon glowing couple, and that sunset on their picture-perfect day, we can see why.
